Apply In-Person

1. To apply for the Adoption of Zoo Animal in Telangana, the applicant has to approach the Nehru Zoological Park(NZP), Hyderabad.
2. The address related to the Zoo in Telangana can be obtained from the “Office Locations and Contacts” Section of this page.
3. After visiting the office, applicant has to approach the authority who is in charge of Zoo Animal adoption.
4. Obtain the form from the authority in charge/respective counter.
5. Submit the form to the Zoo office after completion.
6. Pay the appropriate fees at the counter or handover the cheque to Zoo deputy curator/NZP official.
7. Collect the certificate of adoption from the Zoo official.

Any individual/organisation can Adopt Zoo Animal after paying the appropriate Adoption rate.

Privileges of Adopting a Zoo Animal:

• Official Certificate of adoption.
• Donors above 10,000 INR will have their name etched onto the enclosure for the animal.
• Other perks include free entry to Zoo and car park, Zoo souvenir and merchandise.
• Guest house allotment for the day, free of cost.
• The adoption fee is eligible for Income Tax deduction under section 80G of the IT Act, 1961.
