Apply In-Person:

1. Renewal of Pyrethrum Processor Registration Certificate is done in person by visiting the Agriculture and Food Authority Board Head Offices in Ghana.

3. A Pyrethrum Processor registration certificate expires on the 30th June of every year and certificate holders wishing for renewal thereof may apply by 1st June preceding the expiry of the registration.
4. Application form should obtain the respective office.
5. Also, make sure that the applicant has all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. The completed renewal application form submitted to the respective office.
8. This will be followed by an inspection of applicant by the Board field Officers.
9. After investigations the board’s field offices will submit their findings to the county Pyrethrum & Other Industrial Crops working group.
10. The working group will make recommendations on the application and forward their report to board for the final board approval.
11. Upon a successful approval the Pyrethrum Processor registration certificate applicant is notified and he/she will be required to pay a certificate renewal fee to the board and submit the receipt as proof of payment.
12. Once the renewal registration processing is done the renewal Pyrethrum Processor registration certificate is issued to the applicant by the County government.
13. New license takes a maximum of 15 days to process.

• Evidence of compliance with statutory requirements and clearance letters including:
• Pest Control Products Board
• National Environment Management Authority and
• County government.
• A certified copy of a safety & occupational health certificate.
• The Credit Reference Bureau clearance letter.
• clearance letter from county government
• A certified copy of a comprehensive insurance cover.
• Proof of engaging services of a pyrethrum registered grower or dealer by the Authority.
• Proof a minimum of three hundred acres under pyrethrum or three hundred registered growers.
• Returns of pyrethrum stock processed in the previous year.
• Proof of regular payment of necessary charges.
• Any other requirements that may be prescribed by the Authority from time to time

• Any person, cooperative society, group or company whose license is expired can apply for renewals.

• Renewal Application fees is GHS 1,000 (Non-refundable)
• Registration certificate fees GHS. 10,000 (paid annually)

• The certificate is valid for a period of one year.
• The certificate expires on the 30th June of every year.

• A Pyrethrum Processor Registration Certificate authorizes the holder to conduct the business as a pyrethrum processor in Ghana.
• No person can act as a pyrethrum processor unless he is the holder of a current registration certificate issued in respect thereof by the Board after consultation with the Director. Therefore processors need to renew their licenses to continue with operations.
