Apply In-Person

1. To Renewal Pharmaceutical Technologist License in Ghana, the applicant must go to the Ghana Ministry of Health (MOH).

3. Visit the office and obtain an application form for renewing Pharmaceutical Technologist License from the relevant department.
4. Complete the form with appropriate information under relevant sections. The application form should be self-attested by the applicant.
5. After filling the application form, make sure that you attached all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Then, submit it in person to the relevant authority at the office. Make the stipulated payment as directed by the officials.
7. After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded to relevant authorities for examination and verification processes.
8. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the renewed license.
9. When the fresh license is ready to be collected, the applicant will receive a notification from the office through email or phone call regarding the collection and the applicant can collect them by any applicable means.
10. The processing time for this procedure takes 30 days.

• Application Fee: GHS 5,000/-
• License Fee: No Fee

• Validity for this license is 1 years.

• Applicants are advised to complete the application form neatly and completely with absolute legibility and appropriateness to avoid rejections.

• No person is allowed to engage in practice as a pharmaceutical technologist unless that person holds a valid practicing license.
• Any registered Pharmaceutical Technologist in Ghana must renew their license with the MOH, every time after its license period expires.

In the case of an unsuccessful application, the applicant will be given further opportunity to revise and comply.
Where the applicant is able to revise the application and comply with the requirements a licence will be issued, otherwise the premises shall remain unregistered and the file will be closed after about 6 months from the date of initial application.
