Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for renewing an exemption certificate is available in Tanzania Revenue Authority contact link
2. Applicant must provide all needed information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to provide all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents that are requested along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the applicant can get their certificate within 1 month.

Any working individual or a company who has a tax exemption and the exemption certificate is about to get expired can apply for renewal.
