Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for registering as a tax consultant in Tanzania is available in Tanzania Revenue Authority contact link
2. Applicant must enter all information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are necessary for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant has to attach photocopies of all documents that are necessary along with the application form while submitting the form.
6. Fee for this procedure is TZS. 100,000/-
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the registration will be provided within 1 month.
8. If there is no information regarding the registration is provided by concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

• Two recent passport size photographs
• Detailed Curriculum Vitae
• Copy of Pay-In-Slip/receipt evidencing payment of the application fees.
• Certified copies of educational and professional certificates where applicable.
• Original Certificates may be called for when a need arises.
• If employed, attach employee a letter of employer should be attached indicating that has no objection for his employee to be engaged in Consultancy.
