Apply In-Person:
- Application form for registering a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is available in Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children contact link
- Applicant must enter all information that are necessary for completing this procedure.
- Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
- Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is listed under “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting the document.
- Fee for this procedure is listed under “Fee” section of this page.
- If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, concerned authorities will provide notification to applicants regarding the availability of the document within 1 month.
- Applicant can visit the office to collect their document after getting the notification.
- If there is no information regarding the document, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

- Both foreign and local non-government organization (NGO), who wants to operate in Tanzania.
Fees
- Registration under District Level Fee – TZS 41,500/-
- Registration under Regional Level Fee – TZS 56,500/-
- Registration under National Level Fee – TZS 66,500/-
- Registration under International Fee – USD 267/-
Validity
- This document is valid for 1 year.

- Address/Box number and telephone contacts of the Organization

- This document is necessary for running a Non-Governmental Organization in Tanzania.
