2. Applicant has to procure and enter all necessary details in the application form.
3. Applicant must carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are required for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are required for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant has to attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
6. Fee for this procedure is TZS 43,000/-
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the license will be provided within 1 week.

• This license is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

• During the 3 months period for which the Temporary license is valid, applicant must learn to drive their vehicle and take up test for getting a driving license.

• This license is necessary for taking up test and getting a driving license.

• If the applicant fails to pass in any one of the tests while undergoing licensing procedure, they have to re-apply for their Temporary’s license and retake their exam.
• Temporary’s License is valid for only 3 months, thus, the applicant must finish their licensing procedure and get their license within that period, if they didn’t, then, they have to apply for another Temporary’s license.

• Temporary’s License can be used for driving vehicles for a period of 3 months.
• Temporary’s License can be used as a proof of identity.
