Apply In-Person:

1. Application for obtaining a construction permit in Tanzania is available in National Construction Council, Tanzania contact link
2. Applicant must procure the application form for this service from the National Construction Council, Tanzania.
3. Applicant has to enter all necessary details in the application form.
4. Applicant must carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are required for completing this procedure.
5. Documents that are required for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Applicant has to attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
7. Fee for this procedure is TZS 115,000 which has to be paid at the office.
8. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the permit will be provided within 25 days to 43 days.
9. Applicant will be notified regarding the availability of permit, after getting the notification; the applicant can visit the office for collecting their permit.
10. If there is no notification provided by concerned authorities, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

• Fee for this procedure is TZS 115,000

• This permit is valid until the construction process is over.
