Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for obtaining Shipping Agency License in Tanzania is available in Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation contact link
2. Applicant has to provide all information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, they will be notified by concerned authorities regarding the license will be provided within 1 month.
8. Applicant can visit the office for getting their permit after getting the notification from concerned authorities through SMS.
9. If there is no information regarding the license is provided by concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

• Audited financial account for the preceding year
• Agency fee and commission payable by the principal to the agent for services rendered
• Passport pages showing particulars of passport holder/birth certificate
• Memorandum and Articles of Association
• Foreign shareholders should provide registration particulars of the company
