Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for obtaining license as Insurance Agent in Tanzania is available in Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Agency contact link.
2. Applicant should provide all information in the application form.
3. Applicant must make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are necessary for the procedure to complete.
4. Documents that are necessary for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
6. The fee for this procedure is TZS 25,000/-.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the license will be provided within1 week.
8. Applicant will be notified via SMS regarding the license availability.
9. If there is no information provided regarding the license, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
