Apply In-Person:

1. Application for obtaining Import Batch Certificate is available in Tanzania Bureau of Standards contact link
2. Applicant has to procure and enter all necessary details in the application form.
3. Applicant must carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are required for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are required for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant has to attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the certificate will be provided within one day.
8. Applicant can collect their certificate on the same day of applying.

• Citizens of Tanzania and Permanent residents of Tanzania who are willing to get Import Batch Certificate are eligible.

• Fee for this procedure is TZS 150,000 approximately, it has to be paid as follows:
• Application Fees: TZS 50,000/-
• Inspection Fees: TZS 100,000/-

• The certificate is valid for 1 year.
