Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for Stock Exchange License or Permit is available in Ministry of Trade Industry and Marketing contact link.
2. Applicant must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request at the office while submitting the application form.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, license will be provided within one week.
8. If there is no information regarding the license is provided by concerned authorities, the applicant has to visit the office to know status of their application.

Stock Exchange is valid until stocks are exchanged.

This permit is necessary for exchanging stocks among various individuals or organizations in Tanzania, Legally.

Any unannounced stock exchange that happens without a proper license is considered illegal and all individuals/organizations involved in this illegal stock exchange will be arrested.
