Apply In-Person:

1. Application for getting a Flight Radio Telephony Operator (RT) License in Tanzania is available in the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) contact link
2. Applicant must procure the application form for this service from the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA).
3. Applicant has to enter all necessary details in the application form.
4. Applicant must carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are required for completing this procedure.
5. Documents that is required for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Applicant has to attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
7. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
8. Once the application is viewed by concerned authorities, the applicant has to clear a theory and a practical test for getting the license.
9. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the license will be provided to the applicant within one month.
10. Applicant can visit the office to get their license after getting notification from concerned authorities.
11. If there is no information provided by concerned authorities even after one month, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
