Tanzania - Apply to Provide Content Services


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply to provide content services in Tanzania, the applicant has to visit the Tanzania Communication Regulatory Authority contact link
  2. Applicant should obtain the application form from the office and fill it up with all the necessary information in it.
  3. Applicant must carry photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
  4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant must attach photocopies and originals (whichever is necessary) along with the application form before submitting it at the office.
  6. The Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request which has to be paid along with the submission of the application form.
  7. The receipt of fee payment will be provided by the respective officer at the office, this receipt has to be kept safe with the applicant since it might be needed later.
  8. Once the submission is completed, the respective officer will inform the applicant regarding the processing time and the methods for getting their certificate.
  9. If the applicant did not receive the certificate within the mentioned time, they can visit the office to know the status of their application.

  • For providing any sort of written, video, or paper content, the owner of the content must have this license for doing their content services legally in Tanzania.
