Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting a Tax Exemption Certificate is available in the Tanzania Revenue Authority contact link
2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure tocarry all needed documents as photocopies and originals.
4. Documents that are required for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of needed documents along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. There is no fee for this procedure. This procedure can be done for free of cost.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the tax exemption certificate will be provided within one day.
8. Applicant can get it on the same day of application.
