Tanzania - Apply for No-Impedance Certificate (Single Status Certificate)


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for No-Impedance Certificate, the applicant must visit the Immigration Services Department contact link
  2. Download the application form link
  3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
  4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant should make sure to attach photocopies of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure along with the application form while submitting the form at the office.
  6. The Fee for this procedure can be paid as per the authority’s request.
  7. Once the fee is paid, a receipt will be handed over to the applicant by the authorities, the receipt must be kept safe for future use.
  8. After the procedure is done, the concerned authorities will inform the applicant regarding the processing time for this procedure.
  9. The applicant will also receive a notification via SMS or E-mail within the mentioned processing time. Once they receive the notification, they can visit the office and get their document.
  10. If there is no information regarding the document is provided within the mentioned processing time, the applicant can visit the office to know the status of their application.
