Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting a Motorcycle Driver License is available in Tanzania Revenue Authority contact link
2. Applicant must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant should carry both photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach all required documents (both photocopies and originals, whichever is necessary) along with the application form before submitting them at the office.
6. Fee for this procedure can be paid as per authority’s request.
7. Applicant should have attended a recognized driving college and hold a certificate.
8. The second test is the driving test in front of the traffic Inspector for getting their approval.
9. If the approval is provided by the inspector the driving license will be provided within a stipulated period of time.
10. The notification regarding the license will be provided to the applicant via SMS or E-mail.
11. If there is no information regarding the license availability is provided, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
