Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting an exemption certificate is available in Tanzania Immigration Headquarters contact link
2. Applicant must provide all needed information in the application form.
3. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant should make sure to provide all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents that are requested along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. There is no fee for this procedure.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the applicant can get their certificate within the stipulated period of time.

Exemption Certificate is valid for 1 year.
