1. Application form for Accreditation of Foreign Reinsurance Brokers in Tanzania is available in Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority contact link.
2. The link for application form is provided under “Documents to Use” section of this page.
3. Applicant must provide all information that are requested in the application form.
4. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
5. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
7. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request at the office while submitting the application form.
8. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, accreditation will be provided within 30 days.
9. If there is no information regarding the accreditation is provided by concerned authorities, applicant has to visit the office to know status of their application.

• Foreign Reinsurers or Reinsurance Brokers accredited.
• Foreign Reinsurers established by statutes and/or agreements or charters to which the government holds a stake directly or indirectly are exempt from accreditation requirement.

• Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.

• Accreditation is valid for 1 year.
