- Applicant should provide all information that is requested in the application form.
- Applicant must make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
- Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Applicant should attach photocopies and originals of all documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form before submitting it at the office.
- The Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
- If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the accreditation will be provided within stipulated period of time.
- If there is no information regarding the accreditation is provided, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
Required Documents
- Completed Application form link
For journalists working with a newspaper or TV channel:
- Copies of employment letter
- Salary Slips for the past 6 months
- Byline clippings (in case of newspapers)
- Relieving letters/service certificate (from previous employers)
- Recommendation letter of editor (current employment) in original
Freelance
- Copies of employment letter with terms and conditions
- Salary slips from all employers
- CA Certificate for income prescribed in guidelines, in original
- Byline clippings

Eligibility
- Any journalist who is working with a TV/Newspaper Channel or working as a freelance journalist is eligible to apply for this procedure.
Fees
- The Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
Validity
- Accreditation of Journalists is valid forever.
