This procedure provides you information related to obtaining an interest free loan for farmers and agricultural purposes in Tamil Nadu. The loan amount is 20,000 INR for One Acre and it should be repaid end of every year and reclaimed back in 4 to 5 days after repayment.

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for an interest free loan for your farm land you should approach your village society. This can be identified by querying to other farmers in the locality or with some representatives of the village who should be able to help you in identifying it.
2. You should have at-least an Acre of land to avail this facility, but I would recommend you to consult your village society they can guide you, even if you don’t have an Acre of land.
3. Following listed are the documents required for the process.
   • 5 Passport size photo
   • 2 Photocopy (Xerox) of Aadhaar Card of land owner and with signature of his over the copies.
   • One Photocopy (Xerox) of Voter Identity Card of land owner and with signature of his over the copies.
   • No due certificate from main banks that are in the village. (This certificate can also be obtained later, after consulting with the society secretary).
4. You should have Patta and Chitta related to this land on your name which is a requirement.
5. You should approach the secretary of your village society who would ask you to fill up couple (2 approximate) of application forms and you would be requested to place your signature in couple of documents.
6. The village society secretary should see you in-person for the loan to be approved. Please make sure you have all the above mentioned documents.
7. The society would provide you a form for No Due of Loan which has to be stamped by the main banks in your village.
8. After validating the documents that you have provided the village society will approve the interest free loan amount.
