1.) Training and Theory Test

The training includes both theoretical and practical parts. You are allowed to practice driving, but only under the supervision of a certified trainer. Private tutoring is not allowed.

In order to practice driving, ATV, you should be at least 15 years and 9 months.

You must be at least 16 years old and have been training to do the theory test.

Only those authorized by the Transport Agency may educate and organize tests for drivers' licenses.

2.) Once you have passed the theory test, it is reported to the Transportation Board, which will send you an application form for your license.

The Transport Agency will begin to process your application once they received both your application form and payment.

3.) You may start driving once you received notification that your test results are submitted to the Transportation Board. But until you have received the license itself you must at all times carry with you a document proving your identity, such as a passport or ID card. You have two months to submit your payment and license applications. Driving with an ID document is valid only during these two months. Once you have received your license you must have it with you every time you drive.

If you have not applied for the issuance of your license and paid the manufacturing fee within one year from date of issuance, the license becomes invalid and you must apply for another one.

You are allowed to bring your own photo.

It is important that the photo is of good quality and follow these instructions:

• The photo submitted in a copy and will be good likeness.
• The face will be imaged directly in front of his face visible.
• Both eyes should be completely visible and the pupils should be clearly visible. Must look at the camera.
• The photograph should have good clarity. The focus should be in the pupil. Reflectors are not seen in glasses.
• You may not have dark or colored glasses.
• You may not have any headgear or similar.
• The face should be evenly lit and the background should be light and no shadows.
• The whole head is visible, not just the face.
• Interpupillary distance and POINT OF THE CHIN should be 14-17 mm.
• The photograph should be renskuret 35 mm wide, 45 mm high and have rounded or sharp corners.
• Both black and white photos and color photos are approved. On the final license will be the photograph that is reproduced in black and white even though color photo submitted.

To obtain a license to operate an ATV you must:

• Be aged 16
• Attend a training course with a certified driving school
• Pass the Theory Test (No need to do a Practical Test)

The fee for the license is SEK 150.

An All Terrain Vehicle is designed to handle a wider variety of terrain than most other vehicles.

If you're driving an ATV in Sweden you will need a special license. You may also run ATV if you have a driver's license or tractor license issued before 1 January 2000.

A license may be revoked

If you are guilty of driving offenses, you may get a warning and get your license revoked.
