1. Visit a Police Passport Office to apply for a provisional passport.
2. Fill up an application form.
3. Present and submit the required documents.
4. Have your photo taken.
5. Pay the fee.

  • a valid Swedish driver's license
  • a Swedish SIS-branded ID card or an ID card issued by a government authority
• Your old passport (if it is still valid)

• There are only certain passport offices that issue provisional passports.
• For applicants who are under 18 years old, a written consent from their guardians is required.
