Sweden - Apply for Phytosanitary Certificate


Procedure

  1. To apply for a Phytosanitary Certificate, Applicant shall register on the E-service portal. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section.
  2. To register on the E-service portal, applicant has to submit a registration form by email to the export control department.
  3. Application form can be found on the following link: Link
  4. Download the application form and fill up your details.
  5. Please send the duly filled form to the Export Control office by Email.
  6. Once your form is processed and accepted. You will receive an automatically generated password sent to your registered email address.
  7. Please come back to the login page: Link
  8. On the given link, use your automatically generated password and click on “sign in”
  9. Once login, fill up your details, upload your documents and click on “proceed”
  10. Please make sure you have all the required documents that are listed under the Required Document” section of this page.
  11. Once the application is verified and registered, an inspection is scheduled.
  12. The Inspector inspects the shipment destined for export.
  13. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the inspector issues a Phytosanitary Certificate.

Fees

The fee for processing the application for a health certificate and pre-export certificate is SEK 450 per certificate.



Validity

The Certificate is valid per shipment or consignment. A new shipment requires a new Phytosanitary Certificate
