Apply Online:

1. To Apply for Registration of Quantity Surveying Profession, the applicant must go to the SA Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession’s official website linked here. Online Link
2. Before applying the applicant must fulfil the eligibility requirements given in the “Eligibility" section of this page. Otherwise, the applicant cannot apply for the registration process.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. On the above given link, the applicant must select the appropriate option under the section “Please select your registration type to continue”.
5. After selecting the option, the applicant must select “Continue” option.
6. On the next page, the applicant must login using the “Social Profile” link such as “Facebook or LinkedIn”. (OR) The applicant can register using the information such as “First Name, Last Name, User Name, and the Application Processing category”.
7. After entering the details, the applicant must select the “Continue” option to move further in the registration.
8. On the upcoming pages, the applicant must enter all the necessary details.
9. After completing the registration details, at the end of the process the “Enrolment fee Invoice" will be automatically generated based on the type of application.
10. The applicant must pay the prescribed fee using the “Invoice Number” as the reference.
11. The proof of payment must be sent to the Accounts Department of SACQSP at the given mail ID invoice@sacqsp.co.za .
12. After submitting the online application form along with the fee payment and required documents, the application will be verified for the registration.
13. After verification, if all the details are legitimate then the registration will be approved for the applicant by the SACQSP officials.
14. After the approval, the applicant will be issued with the registration certificate.

16. The processing time for the registration will intimated to the applicant after applying.

• After obtaining a degree or other relevant qualification candidate quantity surveyors (CQS) are required to do at least 33 months of in-service training and, depending on their qualification, pass the council exams in order to prove their professional competence before they are allowed to register.
• New candidates who apply for registration will be admitted to Interviews for Assessment of their Professional Competence only if they produce certificates to prove that they have successfully completed all the prescribed SACQSP Professional Skills Modules during their post-qualification terms as employed, supervised, mentored, Candidates.
