Apply Online:
- To Register as a Pest Control Operators, the applicant must go to the Pest Control Industries Professional Council (PCIPC) office in South Africa Contact Link
- The application form must be obtained from the authorities at the PCIPC office, or else it can also be downloaded from the official website linked here Application Form Link
- Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The application form must be filled with all the necessary details, and along with the required documents, it must be submitted to the respective authority at the PCIPC office.
- The application form along with the required documents can also be scanned and emailed to the registration@PCIPC.org , which is the official mail ID for receiving application for Pest Control Operator registration.
- The submitted application form will be meticulously verified by various authenticating bodies at the PCIPC office on different stages.
- During the verification process, if there is any missing document or missing information, it will be notified to the applicant via SMS/Email/Telephone, until the missing information is addressed by the applicant, the verification will be put in hold by the authentication body.
- After complete verification, if all the details and documents submitted are legitimate then the Registration will be approved by the PCIPC officials.
- After registration approval, a pro-forma invoice will be sent to the applicant’s contact address/details (provided in the application form) for the payment of yearly registration fee.
- Once after receiving the yearly registration fee, the applicant’s name will be registered for the Pest Control Operators.
- Later the registration card will be sent to the applicant’s postal/physical address via registered mail or through courier. The courier/mail can be tracked by the applicant using the tracking number.
- Otherwise, the applicant can personally collect the registration card from the PCIPC registration office or at the collection points.

- The complete process for the registration of the pest control operator will take approximately 20 working days from the date of submitting the application.
- Note: The Pest Control Operator registration has different departments, they are:

- Agriculture and Forestry
- Structural
- Fumigation of Stored Agricultural products
- Structural Fumigation Pest Management
- Weed and Invader Plant
- Wood Destroying Organism
- Wood Preservation

Eligibility
The Pest Control Operator registration has different departments; therefore, the common eligibility is:
- The applicant must be 18 years of age while applying.
- The applicant must have successfully passed and obtained a South African Qualification Authority (SAQA), approved and accredited, skills program, qualification.

Validity
- The Pest Control Operator registration is valid for 12 months from the date of registration mentioned on the registration card.
- After the validity period, the registration must be renewed annually by submitting the renewal application and fee to the PCIPC department.
