Apply Online:

1. To Register to receive your Municipal Account Online, the applicant must go to the respective Municipal Office official website Link
2. On the website, either “Register as an Individual or sole proprietor” or “Register as an Organisation” must be selected.
3. The applicant must enter the up-to-date contact information on the portal.
4. After submitting the registration online, the applicant will receive confirmation email with the “Username” and “Password” to access the Municipal Account Online.
5. Now, the registration will be confirmed, and the user can use it various purposes.
6. However, the user (applicant) can change or reset the password anytime they want.
7. There is no fee to register online Municipal Account.
8. The registration will be confirmed within 1 or 2 days of period after submitting the information online.

Note: E-services is accessible only via laptop or desktop, therefore, the applicants are advised to use the same, and not the mobile, or tablet.

• If Individual or Sole Proprietor Registration:
• ID number
• Copy of your ID to register for different online services
• Business partner number (which is the reference number the city uses to identify you on the system, found on the third line in the header of your municipal account statement)
• If organisation registration:
• A valid business email address
• A letter of authorisation giving you permission to create an e-services profile for your organisation
• Business partner number
• South African id, or a passport (if foreign national)
• Registration certificate
• Founding statement or amended founding statement.
• Trust as Trustee for All Members Form
• Identifying document of the person acting on behalf of the group, with signatories.
• Partnership document
