Apply Online:

1. To Cancel the Social Grant Application, the applicant must visit the South African Social Security Agency’s website Online Link
2. In the given link, under the “Cancel My Application” tab, the applicant must select “click here to cancel online” option.
3. The applicant must enter the necessary details, and select the “Send Pin” option.
4. Now, the applicant will receive a 6-digit OTP to the mobile number.
5. The OTP number must be entered on the web page, and it will be verified.
6. After that, the applicant must select “Cancel my grant” option.
7. Now, a message will pop-up to confirm the cancellation of the grant option.
8. The applicant must select the “YES” option to continue with the cancellation.
9. Now, the grant will be cancelled.
10. There is no fee for cancelling the Social Grant application.
11. The social grant can be cancelled immediately after submitting the request on the portal.
    

No physical documents are required for cancelling the social grant application.

• If the applicant’s conditions changed and if no longer the grant is needed or qualify for the special Covid-19 Social Relief of Distress Grant, the applicant may cancel the application.
  

There is no fee for cancelling the Social Grant application.
