Apply In-Person:

1. To Get R and D Tax incentive, the applicant must go to the Department of Science & Technology (DSI) office in South Africa. Contact Link
2. The applicant must submit a proposal letter to the respective authorities in the DSI office.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. All the necessary documents must be submitted to respective authorities in the DSI office.
5. After verifying the documents completely, if the company qualifies the eligibility requirements set by the DSI board, then the R&D incentive will be sanctioned to the applicant.
6. There are no fee or charges to file the incentive/grant application.
7. The processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
