South Africa - Enroll in Weed Control Scheme


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Enrol in Weed Control Scheme, the applicant must go to the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development (DALRRD) office in South Africa Contact Link
  2. The respective application form will be made available for the applicants at the DALRRD office.
  3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. The application form must be filled with all the necessary details, and along with the required documents, it must be submitted to the executive officer at DALRRD.
  5. If the details and the documents submitted by the applicant is valid and legitimate, and complies with the eligibility criteria of the scheme, then the applicant will be enrolled in the Weed Control Scheme.
  6. Later, the applicant can get the weed killer supplies from the executive officer at the DALRRD.
  7. The fee details and the processing time of the enrolment will be intimated after applying.




Required Documents

  • Application Form.
  • A sketch map of the farm unit concerned or the map forming part of the plan for that farm unit, on which the camps infested with the weeds concerned are indicated.
  • Documentary proof of the identity of the applicant concerned.
  • A certified copy of the purchase agreement.
  • Other documents requested by the officials. (If applicable)
