Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for enrolling in Black Business Supplier Development Programme (BBSDP)in person, the applicant has to visit the office of Department of Small Business Development.

3. Visit the office of DSBD and get the application form for enrolling in Black Business Supplier Development Programme from the relevant department.
4. Complete the form as required with relevant details. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. After completing the application form, attach all the documents required for the process with the completed form.
6. Then, proceed to submit the package to the Programme Manager at the office of DSBD for further processes. Make the payment as necessary.
7. After all the processes have got completed, the concerned authorities will proceed to make the arrangements for the enrolment process.
8. The applicant can obtain any information regarding the progress of his/her request, from the office where the application has been made.

• The concerned enterprise must have 51% black majority shareholding and should be producing a turnover of R250 000 to R35 million per year.
• It should have been in operation and trading as a business for at least a period of one year and must have formally registered for Value Added Tax.
