2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities at the DALRRD office.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form must be filled with all the necessary details, and along with the required documents and the affidavit form it must be submitted to the officials at the DALRRD office personally by the applicant.
5. If the details and the documents submitted by the applicant is valid and legitimate, then the Import permit for Natural Honey will be approved by the DALRRD official.
6. Then the applicant will be issued with the permit certificate.
7. The fee details and the processing time to get the permit will be intimated after applying.

1. To Apply for Natural Honey Import Permit, the applicant must submit the prescribed application form to the DALRRD’s official Email ID/ Telefax number given here

5. If the details and the documents submitted by the applicant is valid and legitimate, then the Import permit for Natural Honey will be approved by the DALRRD official.

Note: Natural Honey Import permits will be allocated on the basis of the following categories:

1. 10% to importers who did not import natural honey during the past, referred to as new importers.
2. 10% to importers that are Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises, referred to as SMME importers.
3. 80% to importers who imported natural honey during the past three years, referred to as historical importers.
4. If no applications were received in the category new and SMME importers the quota may be allocated to historical importer.

Any individual/company interested in importing natural honey into South Africa is eligible to apply for the Import permit application.

The prescribed fee details of the registration will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

The soybean market access permit is valid for 12 months (1 year).
