1. To apply for the procedure you will need to complete an application form. A link is provided under 'Documents to Use' section which you can use to download the form.
2. You will need to submit the completed form together with your supporting documents either upon or prior to your arrival at the port of entry. Note: Check the links provided under "Eligibility" section to know if you will need to apply for a visa before your scheduled arrival in Solomon Islands.
3. Pay applicable fee.

If you are applying for a visa prior to your arrival

You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest Solomon Islands Embassy or Consulate in the country you are currently staying. They will be able to help you submit your request to obtain a visitor visa.

Persons entering or leaving Solomon Islands must be in possession of a valid passport issued by the proper Passport authority of the country to which he is a citizen or national and must be in possession of a valid onward/return air ticket from Solomon Islands.

Solomon Islands Embassies and Consulates

Visitors travelling to Solomon Islands must satisfy the following requirements prior to travelling:

• Must be in possession of a valid passport or other valid travel documents
• An onward air ticket which can be used to travel from Solomon Islands to other countries which the visitor will be ask to enter.
• Must have sufficient funds to sustain himself/herself whilst in Solomon Islands.
• Must have valid visas to enter other countries (where required) from Solomon Islands.

Note: If all these requirements are met, a visitor will be granted a visitor's permit.

Visitors permit : 90 days

Extensions of an additional 3 months may be granted under special circumstances.
