1. Slovenian citizen can apply for a passport at any administrative unit on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia.
2. Citizen who is residing or staying abroad or overseas, but due to health or other legitimate reasons can not return to their country, may apply for a passport well in the body of the RS abroad, which is responsible for consular affairs.
3. In case of emergencies, such as medical treatment, illness or death of a close family member, urgent business, you can apply for a passport at the Ministry of the Interior.
