Slovenia - Apply for Phytosanitary Certificate

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for a Phytosanitary certificate, Applicant shall approach the Regional Office of the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Food Safety, Veterinary and Plant Protection. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section
  2. You have to submit an Application form to the Regional Office of the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Food Safety, Veterinary and Plant Protection.
  3. Application form can be found on the following link: Link scroll down and select the form listed under “forms”
  4. Download the application form and fill up your details.
  5. Please make sure you have all the required documents that are listed under the “Required documents” section of this page.
  6. The applicant has to present the duly filled application form and Documents to the Regional Office of the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Food Safety, Veterinary and Plant Protection.
  7. After the application form is processed, the applicant has to pay the prescribed fee.
  8. The Plant Quarantine Station schedules an inspection. The Inspector inspects the shipment.
  9. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the inspector issues a Phytosanitary Certificate.

Validity

The Certificate is valid per shipment or consignment. A new shipment requires a new Phytosanitary Certificate
