The registration of births and issuing of birth certificates in the Slovak Republic is regulated by the Act No. 154/1994 Coll. on Civil Registers.
Local People's Committees in many cities, including Horna Suca, District Trencin are authorized to issue birth certificates, marriage certificates, and similar civil registration documents in Bratislava, Piestany, Kosice,or in other cities.
