Singapore - Update Pet or Dog License Information


Procedure

Apply Online

  1. To Update Pet or Dog License Information, the applicant has to make the application through AVA or by tapping the following link Pet Animal Licensing System (PALS) link
  2. The applicant needs to login with their Singpass Id number and password
    Note: If you do not have an account you can register by clicking on register now, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with you Sing Pass ID number and password.
  3. After login click on the click on the “My license” and click “Update” icon.
  4. Update the details for the “Dog Particulars”. Click on the “Upload dog photo” checkbox to attach a photo at the “Upload Documents” page.
  5. To Update the “Sterilisation Status” for the dog. Click on the “Sterilisation Status checkbox to Yes Singapore/Overseas/Unknown. Update the dog sterilisation details accordingly. Click “Next” to proceed.
  6. Upload the relevant supporting documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page and Click “Next” to proceed.
  7. Verify the information and click submit to proceed.
  8. After submitting an acknowledge page indicating that you have successfully submitted the changes will be displayed.

Need for the Document

  • Under the Animals and Birds (Dog Licensing and Control) Rules, all dogs must be licensed. This is for traceability in the event of an outbreak in disease, such as rabies. In such instances, the licensee is expected to produce the dog for examination, if required.
