1. To Renewal of Food Shop License, the applicant has to make the application in GoBusiness licensing portal link
2. Scroll down to “Amend/renew licences” and click “Log In Here” If the applicant’s licence is from SFA, NParks and AVS or tap the following link
3. The applicant needs to login with their Singpass Id number and password

   Note: If the applicants don’t not have an account, then they can register by clicking on register now, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, on the next page enter their personal information and submit. They will be issued with the Sing Pass ID number and password.

4. After logging in, the applicant will see their dashboard. If the applicant’s licence is due for renewal, their dashboard will indicate outstanding payment(s). Click on “Payments”.
5. To check the outstanding payment, click on “Payments” tab and select the relevant Payment Advice Number or Application Number
6. To renew, click on the “Licences” tab. Select the relevant licence for renewal. Click Action » Renew.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee given in the “Fees” section of this page.
8. The SFA will post out the hard copy of renewed license within 7 days.

Any person who intends to renew their food shop license is eligible to make this application.

The processing fee to renew food shop license is $195.00

The validity of the renewed license is one year.

• Renewal of license is necessary because it is an offence to operate a food establishment without a valid licence under the Environmental Public Health Act. Offenders may be fined up to $10,000 for operating a food establishment without a valid licence.
• Every person needs to apply for a Food Shop Licence if he/she intends to operate a retail food outlet where food and/or drink are sold wholly by retail. This is a requirement under the Environmental Public Health Act.
