1. To obtain a Employment agency License the applicant has to make the application in GoBusiness licensing portal or tap the following link
2. Enter a search “Employment Agency Licence” then click on "Add to selection"> click on "Review and Apply" and then click the "Proceed" button.
3. The applicant needs to login with their Singpass Id number and password

   Note: If you do not have an account you can register by clicking on register now, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with you Sing Pass ID number and password.

4. The applicant has to provide the general information and application details. Submit the application and pay the application fee S$400.00
5. The applicant will receive an In- principal Approval (IPA) via email form the employment agency licensing branch.
6. After receiving IPA letter, you need to buy the security bond (in the form of a banker’s guarantee)
7. Complete the Security Bond and Banker’s Guarantee forms link
8. After completion the applicant must carry the IPA letter and banker guarantee form to any bank to get the guarantee.
9. After getting the guarantee the applicant needs to post security Bond form, Banker’s Guarantee form and other required documents to employment agency licensing branch (contact details was given in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page)
10. It takes 7 working days to process the documents. If successful, you will receive a notification from GoBusiness Licensing stating that the application is approved
11. To get the licence issued Log in to GoBusiness Licensing and pay the $100 issuance fee
12. Once licence is issued, log in to GoBusiness Licensing to print your e-licence.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be

• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
• Employment Pass Holder (your employment pass must allow you to work in the particular organization)
• Personalised Employment Pass holder
• Registered with ACRA as one of the following positions in the company
  • Company–Managing Director, Director, Authorised Representative
  • Sole Proprietorship and Partnership–Owner, Partner, Manager
  • Limited Liability Partnership–Partner, Manager
  • Limited Partnership-General Partner, Limited Partner
• Not an undischarged bankrupt
• Not have any previous conviction records under Women’s Charter, Children and Young Persons Act, Penal Code, Immigration Act, Employment Agencies Act and Employment of Foreign Manpower Act in Singapore or elsewhere
• Not have any offence records involving dishonesty or human trafficking
• Not have been involved in the management of an employment agency whose licence had been revoked

• Application fee is S$400.00
• The employment agent license fee S$100.00

• The validity of the license is 3 years.

• Helps place any jobseeker with an employer.
