1. To obtain a Child Care Center Licence the applicant has to approach Ministry of Social and Family Development contact link
2. Applicant has to get the application form from the respective office.
3. Complete the form with the necessary details.
4. Make sure that the applicant should have all the necessary documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant has to attach the photocopies along with the application form.
6. Submit the completed form along with the needed documents to the relevant authority.
7. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority request.
8. Upon the successful applying, the board will issue the license within the stipulated processing time.

The chief licensing officer will consider the following information to either grant you a new license or renew your old one.

• The applicant needs to be physically and mentally healthy (and capable) to run an ECDC
• The applicant needs to have the appropriate character, meaning he or she shouldn’t
  • Be convicted of an offence or crime under the Child Care Centres Law
  • Be convicted of a crime in Singapore or elsewhere that involves dishonesty or acting dishonestly
  • Be convicted of a prescribed offence, whether or not the offence was committed before or after application of license

• Fee for this procedure has to paid as per the authority request.

• The validity is for 3 years.
