Singapore - Get Permission to Transport Radio Active Material


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Get Permission to Transport Radio Active Material, the applicant has to approach National Environment Agency link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the respective officer.
  3. The applicant has to complete all necessary details in the application form.
  4. Make sure the applicant has all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the documents along with the application form.
  6. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as per the authority request.
  7. Submit the application form to the respective officer.
  8. The authority will review the application and contact the applicant via email or SMS.
  9. The processing time of the application takes up to 2weeks





Required Documents

  • Name and Unique Entity Number (UEN) of importer/exporter
  • HS code of the controlled item
  • At the item description field indicate the product information of the controlled item (maker/brand, model no., serial no. etc.; include the name of radionuclide, its radioactivity & serial no. for radioactive materials)
  • Dealer (L1, L2 or N1) licence number and correct product code (if the controlled item is listed in the importer/exporter’s valid dealer licence) at the Licence No. and Product Code fields respectively.
  • All relevant shipping and supporting documents (e.g. invoice, packing list, airway bill/bill of lading, brochures, dealer licence, etc.) are to be attached/uploaded with the declaration.
