The application for renewal of the license is to be made within thirty days from the date of its expiry.
Apply Online:

1. To Renew Trade License, the applicant has to make the application online via - link link.
2. Enter the login details with the captcha code and click the “Login” button.
3. The applicant has to click the “Renew license” from the following list.
4. The application form for Trade/ Business License will be displayed on the screen.
5. Fill in the right credentials in the form and upload the required documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. After uploading all the requested documents (scanned documents), click on the “Submit” icon.
7. Once the application is submitted, verification of the documents will be done by the ULB officials.
8. After submitting the application form successfully, an automatic unique application number will be generated.
9. The applicant will be notified via SMS or email on the registered mobile number and email address for making the requisite payment.
10. Then, the applicant has to fill out all the requested payment details.
11. Then, click on the “Make Payment” icon to make the payment online. A receipt will be generated as an acknowledgment slip for the amount made.
12. Once the payment is received, the competent authority will verify and issue the Trade license in 2- 3 days.
13. Also, the applicant will get a notification through SMS.
14. The applicant can download the license through login in the portal.

Apply In-Person:

1. The applicant has to submit a renewal application addressed to the Licensing Authority of the concerned municipal corporation/municipality where the trade license was obtained.

4. Collect the applicable application form or write on plain A4 paper as per advice.
5. Submit the completed application form along with the required document. Please check the required documents section of this page.
6. Authorities will check the submitted application and announce the fees/charges. Please pay and get the receipt.
7. This application will be processed internally.
8. The applicant gets a notification from the department through their registered mobile number. So, please follow the department notification.
9. On successful completion of the process, renewed trade license will be delivered as per applicable norms.

Note:

• It is advised to submit an additional set of copies of the documents and get counter-signed for your safety while applying with the government department.

Apply through CSC:

1. To Renew Trade License, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC center – Link
2. The applicant has to select a state, district, and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centers.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
8. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
10. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
11. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
12. After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
13. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
14. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
15. The applicant will get a renewal license by visiting the center.
16. This entire process can be completed within 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
