• To apply for change in address for vehicles in Sikkim, the applicant has to approach the RTO office of the area.
  
• Information related to the RTO offices and registering authority can be obtained from the “Office and Location” Section of this page.
  
• You will have to submit Application in front of registering authority.
  
• The application shall be made in application Form no 33 to the RTO
  
• The application form no 33 can be downloaded through following link: form no 33
  
• Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
  
• Application forms can be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices that should be completed and presented with appropriate fees.
  
• Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
  
  

Apply Online:

1. To change address for vehicles, the applicant has to visit the official portal of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways: Link to Portal
2. In the homepage, please scroll down to “Informational Services” and click on the “more” button in the “Citizen Guide” tab.
3. The applicant will be taken to the “Manual” page where all the available services will be listed.
4. Please click on the name of the required service and click on “Step by Step procedure” from the drop down menu.
5. The applicant will be taken to a new PDF page where the process for applying will be explained clearly.
6. Please follow the steps to complete the application.

8. Heavy passenger motor vehicle: 750.00
   
9. Imported motor vehicles: 2500.00
   
10. Imported motor cycle: 1250.00
    
11. Any other vehicle not mentioned above: 1500.00

Every owner of Motor Vehicle shall cause the Vehicle to be Registered by a Registrating Authority in whose Jurisdiction he has residence or place of business where the vehicle is normally kept.
