Apply In-Person:

1. Applicant has to submit an application addressed to the Licensing authority of the concerned municipal corporation/municipality where the business is proposed.

3. Go to the respective office.
4. Meet the respective authority at the licensing department of the Municipal Corporation / Municipality office. Applicant shall get the advice from the authority to be followed to apply for the respective trade.
5. Collect the applicable application form or write on a plain A4 paper as per advice.
6. Submit the completed application form along with required document as per our page.
7. Authorities will check the submitted application and announce the fees / charges. Please pay and get the receipt.
8. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of site.
9. After field verification, authority will submit verification report before the trade licence committee.
10. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are complied with by the applicant, authorities will issue order to make applicable payment.
11. Applicant shall make the payment as advised.
12. After all the above steps, applicant gets notification from the department. Please follow the notification to get the license.
13. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are not complied with by the applicant, the application by rejected.

1. It is advised to submit additional set of copy of the documents and get counter signed for your safety while applying with government department..
2. Visit your nearest or a running trade in your region and consult with them for any latest update requirements.

Apply Online:

1. To Apply for Trade License, the applicant has to make the application online via – link
2. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “New User Registration” button.
3. The applicant has to enter all the details for the registration process and click the “Register” button.
4. Now come to the login page and enter the identity details with the captcha code and click the “Login” button.
5. The applicant has to enter all the details for a trading license.
6. Also, the applicant has to upload the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page. Click the “Submit” button.
7. After completing successfully, the applicant will get the message through the registered mobile number.
8. Pay the fee online mode and click the “Submit” button.
9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
11. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
12. After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
13. Once the process gets completed, the applicant has to visit the office and pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
14. Upon successful completion, the applicant can get the license from the office.
15. This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Apply through CSC

1. To Apply for Trade License, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC center – link
   • NOTE: The applicant has to select a state, district, and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centers.
2. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
3. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
5. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
6. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
7. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
8. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
9. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
10. After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
11. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
12. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
13. The applicant will get a license by visiting the center.
14. This entire process can be completed within 3 – 4 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
