Apply via Agent
Apply In-Person:
- Approach the Power department of Sikkim and collect the Application form or download it form the link Link
- Refer to the “Office Locations & Contacts” section in this procedure to see the respective address and contact details. Contact link: Link
- Fill in the form and submit it at the respective office along with the required documents.
- Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
- The applicant will be contacted by respective officer /Call Centre Representative on email/mobile provided by you for verification.
- Once verification and payment procedure is successful, connection will be effected according to consumer’s application.
Required Documents
- Application to the Assistant Engineer (Commercial)
- SBS Bank Receipt (B/R) of Rs. 25/- should be deposited under the head : “0801” (Power) along with the Requisition & Agreement form.
- Filled up Requisition & Agreement form (shall be issued from the office of the concerned Assistant Engineer).
- Filled up form “A” & “B”.
- Attested Passport size photo should be posted in Requisition & Agreement form.
- Attested Voter ID
- Revenue Stamp of Rs. 1/- (1 no.).
- Attested Parcha copy / Lease Deed / Site Allotment order.
- In case the applicant is residing as a land tenant; he/she should enclose NOC from land lord along with attested parcha copy of landlord.
- In case of L/S (Line Segregation) clearance certificate of existing A/C No. of electricity bill should be enclosed.

Processing Time
The date of availing the temporary supply may be got amended by the consumer, by applying to the authority who has issued the orders before the commencement date indicated in the order. However, any alternate date proposed shall commence within 15 days of the date of the first order.
