Apply In Person:

1. To apply for a Phytosanitary certificate, Applicant shall approach the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section
2. You have to submit an Application to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security. The application request shall include the information listed below under the “required information” section
3. Please make sure you have all the required documents that are listed under the “Required documents” section of this page.
4. The applicant has to present the application and Documents to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security.
5. After the application form is processed, the applicant has to pay the prescribed fee.
6. The Crops division schedules an inspection. The Inspector inspects the shipment.
7. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the inspector issues a Phytosanitary Certificate.

The Certificate is valid per shipment or consignment. A new shipment requires a new Phytosanitary Certificate
