Upon expiry of the validity period, the licensee's license to drive who wants to obtain an extension is required to undergo a new medical examination passed in the same conditions. The validity of the permit is extended by the Director of Land Transport, given the medical fitness certificate issued following the visit.

Note : Driving licenses for motor vehicles may be granted only on presentation of a medical fitness certificate issued after a medical examination before a doctor appointed by order of the Minister of Health.

1. The request for renewal of driver license should be made at the regional division of Land Transport.

• A medical certificate less than four months issued by a doctor approved by the Ministry of Health.
• A certified copy of national identity card or passport.
