1. To obtain a Life Certificate, an applicant must go to your local Civil Registry Office.
2. An applicant must be able to provide proof of identity, an extract from birth certificate or any evidence of the identity of the person.
3. Pay the application fee. Note: Application fee varies depending on the locality (from 75 to 500 FCFA).
4. The certificate will be issued on the same day.

Note: In case you have lost the Life Certificate, you will need to go through the same procedure to obtain a new one.
