A divorce may be filed in Senegal, when one or both spouses decide to put an end to their union.
One of the spouses or both in the case of divorce by mutual consent may initiate divorce proceedings.
Application Fee: 2400 FCFA.

In both cases, the applicant (s) must apply to the judge of the District Court in the place of residence of the wife.
