1. To Apply for an Export License, the applicant has to make the application online via link
2. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to select “Create a new account”.
3. Enter all the registration details with the captcha code and click the “Register” button.
4. Now the applicant has to log in with the username and password and click the “Login” button.
5. The applicant has to select the form from the menu list.
6. Enter all the details in the application form.
7. And upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. Pay the prescribed amount fee in online mode.
9. Once completed with all the details click the “Submit” button.
10. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
11. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
12. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
13. Once the application is reviewed, the applicant will receive a decision on whether his/her export license is granted or denied. If approved, the license will specify the terms and conditions for the export.
14. This entire process can be completed within 2 – 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

To be eligible to apply for an export license in Scotland, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
